Congratulations to the high school students who attended the ACSI Fine Arts Festival.
We had a very successful day. The Vocal Ensemble, Stephen Bates, Robbie Brown,
Hannah Jackson and Ruth Sneller received an EXCELLENT rating for their viola and flute
duet. For vocal performance,
ratings for each of their performances. Hannah Jackson received a
her viola solo, and Ruth Sneller received an EXCELLENT rating for her piano solo.
In the Art Festival, Valerie Sears received a
medallion for her submitted art piece. Rebekah Shultz received a
both of her submitted art pieces. Sarah Armstrong, Erin Sensenig both received an
EXCELLENT rating in their submitted art work. Great job, everyone, in representing

National Honor Society News:
On Monday evening, February 25, Headmaster Michael Myers spoke of the vision for inaugurating a NHS chapter at Dayspring. This is a momentous occasion for us as we move forward in excellence and provide opportunities for our students to be recognized for scholarship, character, service and leadership. DCA's first inductees are:
Rebecca Susan Brandt, Eric Gregory Pettis and Logan Blake Simmons (class of 2010); Stephen James Bates, Robert Joseph Brown, Lauren Paige Cranmer, Cara Lyn Dochat, Carley Hope Evangelista, and Ruth Elyse Sneller (class of 2009); and Lauren Marie Miller, Jonathan David Porter, Stuart Michael Schmucker, Spencer Patrick Simmons, Alison Bree Stauffer and Donald-Craig Wellington Whitaker III (class of 2008.)
