Learning Support

The Learning Resource Room at Dayspring Christian Academy is a tutorial program to assist student who have been identified as having significant academic difficulties in the regular classroom. This program is not intended as a substitute for the NILD program when that program is indicated.

Students will be admitted to the Learning Resource Room upon recommendation of the Learning Resource Team which is comprised of the Learning Resource teacher, the student’s classroom teacher, and a school administrator. The team will base its recommendation on:

• Stanford Achievement Test scores

• Psychological testing

• Teacher/parent assessments

• Report cards

• Anecdotal statements
