Parent Information Network

Dayspring Christian Academy is fortunate to have strong parent involvement in all areas of the school. From prayer partners, coaches, actors, to room parents, Dayspring is blessed with support from our parents. Through parent involvement, Dayspring Christian Academy is able to create the Godly atmosphere we desire for our students.

The Dayspring Parent Information Network is a place where Dayspring parents can go to find key information about volunteer opportunities, school activities, and who to contact when questions arise. The Parent Information Network opportunities are listed weekly in the Beacon.

Some opportunities include but are not limited to:

  • Parent Teacher Partners
  • Parent Prayer Partners
  • Back to School Night Picnic
  • Fall and Spring Sub Sales
  • Towne Meeting
  • Thanksgiving Exposed
  • Remember America Speaker Series
  • Patriots Celebration Dinner
  • Spring Drama/Musical

Dayspring also asks that parents get involved in other areas of the school. At least one parent/guardian from each Dayspring family is responsible to fulfill these basic requirements:

  • Attend the Back-to-School Orientation at the start of school each year
  • Attend parent-teacher conference in the fall of each year (and others, as requested)
  • Attend the Towne Meeting in January or February each year
  • Participate in at least two fundraising events each school year
  • Volunteer in some capacity in one school event or activity

The Parent Information Network is run by the Parent Teacher Guild Committee (PTG). The PTG Committee is run by Bobbi Troxell (Lower School Leadership) and Jessi Zimmerman (Upper School Leadership). To get involve or ask a question please contact Jessi or Bobbi by email at ptg@dayspringchristian.com or find their information in Parent Section of Renweb.
