Remember America Speaker Series 2017 – Dayspring Christian Academy

Our high-energy 2017 Remember America Speaker Series was themed “Warriors in the Battle” and featured Lt. Gen. (Ret.) William G. “Jerry” Boykin and Jay Sekulow. It also featured an exhibit from the Museum of the Bible. The Remember America Speaker Series is an outreach of Dayspring Christian Academy and a part of the broad vision to restore the biblical foundation of our nation. The Series is designed to remind Americans of their unique heritage of liberty that was founded upon biblical principles. The Series is intended to bring high-caliber speakers to our community who can cogently articulate their message, which is based on their own research of original sources and experiences.

Lt. Gen (Ret.) William G. "Jerry" Boykin was one of the original member of the U.S. Army's Delta Force. He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. After 36 years in the Army including a tour with the CIA and as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, Jerry is now an ordained minister with a passion for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging Christians to become Warriors in God's Kingdom. Since June of 2012, Jerry has been serving as the Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council.

Jay Sekulow is Chief Counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice. An accomplished and internationally respected judicial advocate, Sekulow has presented oral arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States in numerous cases in the defense of constitutional freedoms, especially those involving religious liberty.
