Jack Kent Cooke Foundation: The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. The Cooke College Scholarship Program application closes on OCTOBER 30 at 11:59 p.m., in your local time zone. Applicants can add the Cooke College Scholarship Program Application to their Common App.

VFW Post: Deadline: October 31. The VFW is dedicated to promoting patriotism and investing in our future generation. If you are a democracy-loving high school student interested in a $30,000 college scholarship or a patriotic middle school student interested in winning $5,000, these scholarships may be for you. College Board Opportunity Scholarships: DEADLINES VARY – FIRST DEADLINE CLOSES AT END OF OCTOBER;  Complete a series of college-related tasks, such as building your college list, practicing for the SAT, and completing your FAFSA, for eligibility to earn scholarships. Complete five of six tasks to be eligible for a $40,000 scholarship!

OppU Achievers Scholarship in the amount of $2,500. High school seniors, college students, and graduate students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 are eligible to apply 1x each entry date. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or resident. Deadlines: September 30, December 31, March 31, and June 30. Students must submit a short response to the question, “What makes you an achiever?” For more information click here.

Prudential Spirit of Community Award: Deadline: November 10The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards honors students in grades 5-12 for making meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. Visit the website for more information and eligibility requirements.

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program: High school seniors nationwide who demonstrate leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2022 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships – up to $40,000 total per recipient – and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond. ABC Keystone Merit Shop Training and Research Center Scholarships: Deadline: February 26. Applicants must enroll in a trade school, college or university program that is directly related to a construction career. This includes skilled trades, engineering, architecture, and construction management.

LANCASTER DOLLARS: Traditional Loan Program application period is open February until April 30.

Mid Penn Bank: “Anna Woodside” Scholarship rewards three outstanding high school seniors with $1000 for college tuition costs. To be considered, applicants must prove dedication to academic excellence and community service. See the Scholarship Board for an application.

EPAITDM Scholarship Program: DEADLINE YEARLY @ MARCH 15: The Eastern Pa Information Technology Data Management Regional Chapter presents this scholarship to assist high school seniors interested in pursuing a career in information technology / computer science. Up to $1000 to a student interested in attending a 2 or 4 year program for IT or Computer Science and demonstrating character and leadership. Learn more (PDF).

Junior League of Lancaster County Deborah P. Altman Outstanding Youth Volunteer Award: JUNIORS AND SENIORS DEADLINE MARCH 15. $1500 and a $300 donation to the charity of the winner’s choice. LOHF NURSE SCHOLARSHIP program supports nurses pursuing any of the following nursing studies:  Degree programs for: LPN,ASN/ADN, RN, BSN, MSN, PhD, and DNP. (For students pursuing degrees from MSN to DNP, preference is given to those focusing on youth and child mental health.) Our competitive awards are based on financial need, passion for the nursing profession, and the proven ability to work hard. John Charles Lohin Memorial Scholarship: DEADLINE MARCH 30 From the Lancaster County Retired School Employees Association. $1000 for a student who has qualified as a Special Needs Student, with IEP or 504 Plan documentation, and maintained a 3.5 GPA. Check the Scholarship Board for an application.

The Lancaster Chapter of MOAA Memorial Scholarship is open until March 30. Please see the Scholarship Board for information and application.

Southeastern PA Chapter of The Drifters, Inc: APPLICATION DEADLINE Yearly @ MARCH 31; Financial award for eligible African-American seniors residing in Southeastern PA (including Lancaster County). Essay, transcripts, and letter of recommendation required. Check the Scholarship Board for a copy of the application. Gene Hummel Scholarship: DEADLINE YEARLY @ MARCH 31; Seniors who have maintained a 3.5 average and who wish to go into the field of education, have been accepted by college or technical school. Check the Scholarship Board for the application.

Ephrata National Bank Trust Scholarships Online Application: www.epnb.com The Brossman and Wolf Scholarship applications are available online by clicking here. You will be able to access these applications Deadlines Yearly from February 2 to March 31.

The Salvation Army Yearly Scholarship: Olga Ruth Stratton & Thomas E Wolf Scholarships @ March/April each year.  Check the Scholarship Board for information and follow the link for the application.

LANCO Federal Credit Union, Gerald Fortney Memorial Scholarship: APPLICATION DEADLINE YEARLY @ APRIL 1; $2000 award to a Lanco FCU member, or the child/in legal custody of a Lanco FCU member, in good standing. Applicant must have been accepted at an accredited institution and be planning to earn an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in any field of study. Applicant must have demonstrated a willingness to be of service to the community and a mature and respectful attitude toward peers and teachers.

Ervin L. Steele Nursing Scholarship: DEADLINE APRIL; $1000 offered to eligible Lancaster or Chester County student who plans to enter the Nursing profession. Check the Scholarship Board for the application.

John Apple Memorial Scholarship: DEADLINE APRIL 26; a $1,000 scholarship in memory of John F. Apple to a graduating Lancaster County high school swimmer who wants to further his/her education. The successful candidate will be a leader and innovator who approaches life with a positive attitude. One senior male and one senior female will be selected for this award.

Sue Weisman Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Scholarship: POSTMARKED DEADLINE MAY 1; recognizes the individual accomplishments of young people who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and dedication to the environment and who have initiated and carried out a project that addresses one of the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful focus areas and programs.

Korean-American Scholarship Foundation, Eastern Regional Chapter: DEADLINE JUNE; Awards for students with Korean heritage, studying in the United States, regardless of citizenship status. Minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrated financial need, plans to study in Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia.
