Every year, Dayspring Christian Academy students, staff, and faculty participate in Spirit Week. After the long Christmas break, Spirit Week provides students a fun way to reintegrate to their school schedule. Spirit Week is actually a competition between our Upper School classes to see which class can win the most points, thus claiming the coveted “Spirit Stick.” Students also collect non-perishable goods for the National Honor Society Food Drive throughout the week. Despite its role as a competition between our Upper School classes, the entire school is invited to participate.

Spirit Week culminates at Homecoming, an annual event held at Spooky Nook Sports. Students, staff, faculty, parents, and alumni are invited to watch our Middle School and varsity basketball teams play, as well as enjoy an Ice Cream Social. Immediately following the final varsity basketball game, alumni take the court and play against each other.

This year brought our largest-ever crowd to Homecoming bringing together alumni, current families, faculty, and staff. The Dayspring family is special. We’re so thankful for an amazing community of supporters!
